i use to catch catfish is bluegill we cut them in half and we use egle hook so when u get one it dont get off a lot i now so much iam 11 years old how smart does tht tell u

Thanks for the tips. I am a beginner fisherman with my two teenage sons. If fishing for bass near lilly pads is best, how do you prevent your line from getting hung up on the lilly pads? What do bass like to eat?

I’m a new fisher, i started about two weeks ago. I was reading over this. I mainly fish at the Ohio/Eire Canal at the Cleveland Metro-parks. The water is about 5 feet deep and has a very slow moving current. Would this be a good place to catch cat fish?

i would hope so all the different color lures i have and all the different colors they sell . but color is at the bottom of my list . there are way more important things to worry about then what color to use
